Sorry for the wait, and Happy belated New Year! A new year means new haircuts for all our heroes! I don’t get it either. Mega 44 is a recap episode that actually has a plot to it. It’s pretty funny, and if you’re the type to skip the clip shows I’d give it  shot. How could you possible skip Kenta shenanigans anyways?  It also helps set up episode 45, which makes 44 the literal calm before the storm. 45 is where the final arc of the show begins and features the return of the two best side characters this show has. It’s wicked good. Ever wonder where Kunekune come from? Anyways, enjoy the two pack and we’ll see you again next week.

Merry Christmas! Who’d have thought that we’d get to release the Christmas episodes at Christmas time? What a great coincidence, and what an even greater set of episodes to end the year with. Nezirezia is going all out and causing a silent night for out heroes. Can Miku keep her mouth shut? Can Yuusaku be any more awesome? Does INET have some Christmas surprises for us? Can Hinelar get any more evil? Watch and find out! Now, go grab a cold glass of egg nog, listen to the Carranger Christmas Album, and then enjoy this holiday epic. Also, make sure to play plenty of video games over the holiday! It’s what Kenta would do.

Time for some weekly Neziranger! This week’s episode is all blue. Literally. There’s also some Pokemon logic, some more Nezirezia plotting, and some neat fights. It all makes for one really great episode. This episode is as cool as Mega Blue himself.

And remember, everything is Hayakwa’s fault.

Time for another Pink and Yellow episode! These two seem to get some of the best episodes, and this one is no exception. Even Nexi Pink and Yellow are getting in on the fun! One interesting note about this episode is that the character “Girl” is played by Ooshima Yuuko who would later become a member of this unknown, and highly obscure, group called AKB48. Despite her character’s name, you can’t miss her and she even has a speaking line. AKB fans should enjoy that. The rest of us will just be admiring the rest of the episode. (AKB scares me) Enjoy the episode!

This is a pretty standard episode. Neziranger does some things, some little kid does either cute or annoying things depending on how you look at it, and really, it’s just a nice episode with some laughs. However, there is one thing I cannot forgive this episode for! You’ll know exactly what it is when you see it. Junki Takegami really needs to research how outer space works sometime. How did that scene get approved? Just… WHY?! But, really, this episode is nice. Enjoy it!

Useless trivia: Through some weird alignment of the cosmos we’re now releasing episodes the same week (give or take a few days) they originally aired back in 97! How’d we get so lucky?

This whole episode is just amazing. A new set of bad guys, some plot developments, and it’s a Kubota focus episode? How could it get any better than this?! Just look at those suits! Classy, and evil all rolled into one. Like I said, this is a Kubota focus episode and he really gets the spotlight. Anytime Kubota does something it’s gonna be awesome. Why? Because Kubota is the best. So, go on and enjoy the episode, we’ll be back next week!

 

Unrelated Trivia: Today, coincidentally, marks 1 year since we finished subbing Zyuranger. Time flies, huh? Now go watch some Zyuranger!

It’s that time of the week again! Chisato focus episodes are always great, and this one is no exception. It’s pretty light hearted, but it’s also kinda sweet at the same time. And just to make everything even more great, this week’s monster is voiced by the legendary Ootsuka Akio! He’s got a huge list of popular roles, but I know him best as Anaval Gato from Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory. He’s also played monsters in Ohranger, Gingaman, GoGo-V, and in Magiranger he voiced Dagon, one of the commanders of Infershia. So in one single episode we have a total of 3 Gundam alumni (Yugande was Captain Bright in 0079, Bibidevi was Domon in G Gundam.) Sadly, there is not a single Gundam reference to be found. Oh well, this episode is about Chisato, not Gundam! Enjoy the laughs this week because things are gonna get a bit twisted next time. And not in the hilarious way.

This week you get a double dose of MegaSilver. If you’re a big fan of Yuusaku (you should be) then you’re gonna love these episodes. You might have noticed that MegaSilver hasn’t really been around much lately, but there’s good reason for that and it’s gonna be explained. In addition to all this silvery awesomeness there’s also some great monster designs. Hinelar’s really getting creative with these Psycho Nezira’s (especially next week’s but that’s another story). And on a final note: Hayakawa Ken is now officially the second best Hayakawa. Who’s the first? Watch these episodes and find out!

If you’re expecting some sort of Halloween episode, then sorry. Instead you’re getting an episode about soccer. It’s also a Kouichiro focus episode, which is actually pretty nice. Nezirezia’s plan is pretty cool this week, as is the Monster of the week as well. Gotta admit, it’s not an animal I thought I’d see in a Sentai show. Apparently, from what I can find, it’s only been done twice before (in Goggle V and Dynaman). And since Mega, they’ve never used that animal again. Most of this episode centers on Kouichiro and his little brother, Shinji. It’s a nice bit of character building for both of them. All in all, this is a fun episodes. Enjoy it!

Just because Zubat is done doesn’t mean we can take a break! This week, Kenta falls in love (again)! There’s also a slew of new stuff! New OP, New Battle Rizer upgrade, New weapon for Yugande, New Nezire Monster, and more Mega Voyager action! Even Mega Silver shows up! It’s a pretty jam packed episode. Anytime Kenta gets the spotlight you know there’s gonna be some laughs, especially if Shougo is around to mess with him. Enjoy this week’s offerings! Mega will be back next week as usual.
